Choosing the correct vehicle for a mobile automotive detailing business is a key to success. If you choose the wrong vehicle you will have breakdowns and lose work and credibility with customers on your schedule or route. F-we built units on Corvair Trucks, 53' Chevys, all sorts of stuff. Whatever worked, we even made a few pontoon Boat Washing Platforms. We eventually, due to volume, kept leaning back to the GM or Isuzu flatbeds for turning radius and such;

Pick a vehicle and I will tell you about the good, bad and the ugly smugly. The fact is that every vehicle is a compromise and we thoroughly enjoyed the Isuzu Chassis for turning radius, big mirrors, visibility, payload, fuel economy and low maintenance.
